MUSCATINE, Iowa – East 11th Street will be closed to all traffic between Mulberry Avenue and Orange Street beginning Monday, July 7, as Muscatine Power & Water (MPW) performs water main repairs near 509 East 11th Street. The closure is expected to last approximately one week, weather permitting.
Detour routes will be place:
- Eastbound traffic will be detoured to East 10th Street, then to Orange, and back to East 11th Street.
- Westbound traffic will be detoured to Orange Street, then to Maple Street, and back onto Mulberry Avenue.
Drivers are encouraged to follow posted signs and use caution when traveling in the area. The City appreciated the public’s patience and cooperation as MPW makes the necessary repairs.
