MUSCATINE, Iowa – The Greater Muscatine Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GMCCI), in partnership with IowaWORKS and Goodwill of the Heartland, will host a Job & Career Fair on Thursday, May 22, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Muscatine Community YMCA (1823 Logan Street).

This event is free and open to the public. No registration is required.

The fair will feature a wide range of employers, staffing agencies, and educational institutions, offering job seekers opportunities across multiple industries and career paths.

New in 2025, GMCCI is introducing a Job Fair Prep Clinic to help attendees prepare for success. Held on Thursday, May 15, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Musser Public Library (408 E. 2nd Street), the clinic is hosted in partnership with IowaWORKS, Goodwill of the Heartland, and The Iowa Center.

Participants can receive help polishing their resumes, practice interview techniques, get tips on professional appearance, speak with career advisors, and explore entrepreneurial resources. Like the fair, this clinic is also free and open to the public, with no registration required.

“Preparation is the key to success, and we want to ensure job seekers have the tools to confidently approach both the application and interview process,” Lindsay Trumbull, Director of Membership at GMCCI, said. “Pairing these two events strengthens the workforce pipeline for everyone involved.”

“We’re building on the momentum we’ve gained with our partners and member businesses in 2025. The job market in Muscatine is thriving, and these events offer a powerful platform to connect talent with opportunity. We encourage anyone exploring employment or new career options to attend and discover what’s available right here in our community.”

For more information, or if your business is interested in hosting a booth, please contact Lindsay Trumbull at ltrumbull@muscatine.com.
