MUSCATINE, Iowa – The Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2025 Tee-Ball program. Designed for children ages five through seven, this fun and engaging program teaches the fundamentals of baseball and softball through coached practices and non-competitive games. All players will hit from an adjustable batting tee, making it a perfect introduction to the sport.

To participate, children must be five (5) through seven (7) years old by June 1st. Each player will receive a Tee-Ball t-shirt. Practices and games will take place at Kent Stein Park, with field assignments varying as needed.

How to Register: Register easily online through RecDesk. First-time users will need to create a household account, which is quick and simple. Be sure to add all household members when setting up your account. In-person and phone registrations are also accepted at the Parks and Recreation Office by calling (563) 263-0241.

Program Options:

  • Monday/Wednesday Session: June 9 - July 1
  • Tuesday/Thursday Session: June 10 - July 3

Space is limited for both sessions, so register early to secure your spot. The registration fee is $35 per participant, and the deadline to sign up is May 16, 2025.

Volunteer Opportunities: Adults can join in the summer fun too! The program relies on volunteers to serve as head or assistant coaches. Each team needs at least two volunteer coaches. If you're interested in contributing and making a positive impact, contact the Parks and Recreation Department at (563) 263-0241 or email ballington@muscatineiowa.gov.

Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity for your young athlete to learn and play Tee-Ball! For further details, feel free to contact the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department.
