MUSCATINE, Iowa – The Department of Public Works has announced that 67th Avenue West from U.S. 61 to the city limit of Fruitland has been closed to through traffic starting today (Oct. 16) as sections of the road surface will be milled in preparation for an asphalt overlay. This includes the intersection with 57th Street South.
Milling is expected to be completed today with the asphalt overlay beginning Tuesday. Work is expected to be completed this week but is dependent on the weather.
Drivers are advised to find alternate routes of travel to avoid delays.
