MUSCATINE, Iowa – Muscatine Power & Water (MPW) will be closing the 300 block of West 2nd Street to traffic on Wednesday, Oct. 2, to safely remove a tree. The tree is located across the street from 305 West 2nd Street.
No parking signs will be placed in this area Tuesday morning with the closure going into effect at 8 a.m. Wednesday. The work is expected to be completed by the end of the work day.
A rain date of Thursday, Oct. 3, has been set aside should weather force postponement of the scheduled tree removal.
