MUSCATINE, Iowa – The #2 Alley, located between 2nd and 3rd Streets, remains closed to all traffic from Walnut Street to Mulberry Avenue for ongoing fiber installation work by CDB Utility Contractors.
The closure, originally scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, November 11–12 (weather permitting), has been extended through Monday, November 17. The extension was approved by the City of Muscatine Department of Public Works due to a delay in the availability of the project’s concrete contractor.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes until work is complete. The City of Muscatine appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation during this necessary infrastructure improvement.
