MUSCATINE, Iowa – Structural concerns with the buildings at 201 and 203 East 2nd Street have led to the closure of GeoJohn’s and Renew Chiropractic and the evacuation of all apartment tenants in both buildings.
As a safety precaution, Sycamore Street is closed from the #2 alley to East 2nd Street, along with the sidewalks adjacent to the affected buildings on both Sycamore and East 2nd Streets.
These closures will remain in effect until a structural engineer completes a thorough assessment of the buildings.
