MUSCATINE, Iowa – Volunteers from HNI Corporation partnered with the City of Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department on Friday (Oct. 17) to assist with the rebuilding of picnic tables at the Parks and Recreation maintenance facility.
Approximately 40 picnic tables were awaiting repair as the volunteers worked under the direction of Park Maintenance Supervisor Melissa Baker and her staff. The project is part of ongoing efforts to maintain and enhance park amenities for residents and visitors throughout Muscatine.
“The support from HNI volunteers is a tremendous help,” Baker said. “Their teamwork and commitment allow us to restore tables that will soon be back in our parks for everyone to enjoy.”
The City of Muscatine extends its appreciation to HNI Corporation for their continued partnership and dedication to improving the community through volunteer service.
