MUSCATINE, Iowa - New to Muscatine — or ready to reconnect with your community? The Live Muscatine Welcome Orientation is the perfect opportunity to meet neighbors and discover all that makes Muscatine a wonderful place to call home.
The next session will be held Tuesday, October 7, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. in the Howe Conference Room at the Muscatine Community YMCA. Guests will enjoy a light dinner, and free childcare will be available for a relaxed, family-friendly evening.
“Moving to a new city isn’t just about unpacking boxes—it’s about finding your community, learning its story, and accessing the resources to thrive,” said committee member Megan Francis. “Live Muscatine helps newcomers feel at home by connecting them with the people, programs, and information that matter most.”
Attendees will gain insight into Muscatine’s rich history, hear from local leaders, and receive practical tips for navigating city services. Whether you’re seeking connections, resources, or inspiration, this orientation will help you start your Muscatine journey on the right foot.
