MUSCATINE, Iowa - Celebrate the Muscatine Art Center’s 60th anniversary at the annual Ice Cream Social this Sunday, June 29, from 1–4 p.m. Enjoy a free, family-friendly afternoon featuring live music, plein air painting in the Japanese Garden, hands-on activities, art exhibitions, and sweet treats for sale.
The event also includes performances by Pandelirium and Metro Mix Chorus, art projects for kids, and a special appearance by former Figge Art Museum Director Tim Schiffer. Bike riders can join a free group ride at 1 p.m. from the Harper Pavilion and get a token for free ice cream.
