MUSCATINE, Iowa – A Muscatine man has been arrested following an investigation into a stabbing incident that occurred in Muscatine last week.
Gabriel Garcia, 22, 4 Albany Park, Muscatine, was arrested at 11:30 a.m. today (June 18) at his residence and charged with Willful Injury, a Class C Felony. The alleged stabbing occurred on June 12 in the 300 block of Liberty Street in Muscatine.
The Muscatine Police Department and medical personnel from the Muscatine Fire Department responded at approximately 10:38 p.m. on June 12, 2025, to a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, they located a 36-year-old male suffering from a stab wound to the abdomen. The victim was transported to UnityPoint Health – Trinity Muscatine in stable condition.
