MUSCATINE, Iowa – The City of Muscatine was informed this afternoon that Republic Services was unable to finish the Thursday curbside recycling collection route due to problems with the truck compacting. Republic has indicated that they will complete the route Friday morning as well as collecting the regular Friday route. Sixteen stops were not collected Thursday on the even side of Mulberry between 1100 and 1618.
If your recycling was not collected, please leave your recycling bin curbside for pickup Friday morning. Republic, and the City of Muscatine, apologizes for the inconvenience.
