MUSCATINE, Iowa – Southbound traffic on Cedar Street will be detoured onto Parham, Mulberry, and East 8th starting Wednesday (Sept. 25) as Phase 6AB of the West Hill Sanitary and Storm Sewer Separation Project moves into the Cedar-Fulliam intersection. Northbound traffic will not be affected at this time.
However, once work in the southbound lane has been completed the contractor will move to the northbound lane of the intersection. At that time northbound traffic will be detoured at East 8th to Mulberry to Parham and back to Cedar. Southbound traffic will be permitted.
Drivers are reminded to slow down and pay attention to traffic control devices when travelling through or near construction work, and pay attention to the presence of construction workers.
