MUSCATINE, Iowa – Fulliam Avenue will be closed to through traffic starting at 7 a.m. on Thursday, August 29, as part of Phase 6AB of the West Hill Sanitary and Storm Sewer Separation Project. Local traffic only (residents on Fulliam) will be permitted into the construction zone.
However, there may be sections of Fulliam closed to all traffic at different times during this phase of the work. It is anticipated that Fulliam will be closed for two months, weather permitting, as underground work and repaving of the roadway is completed.
KE Flatworks, Inc., will begin underground work from the Fulliam-Sycamore intersection to Cedar on Thursday and then move to complete underground work from Sycamore up the hill to near Nelson Drive.
The detour will be using West 8th Street and Roscoe Avenue.
