MUSCATINE, Iowa – Beginning July 24, 2024, Vail Avenue between U.S. Highway 61 and the Durant Corporate Limits will be closed to traffic for a PCC Patching project. Contractors will begin mobilizing equipment and personnel to begin work. Construction is anticipated to be completed in late September, weather dependent.
Detour using Hwy 61 to Western Avenue (Y30) to 200th Street (Historic Hwy 6).
Beginning July 31, 2024, Moscow Road between 155th Street (F70) and U.S. Highway 6 will be closed to traffic for a PCC Paving project. Contractors will begin mobilizing equipment and personnel to begin the culvert and bridge approach work. In October, the prime contractor, Manatt's Inc, plans to move in and begin paving. Construction is anticipated to be completed in late November, weather dependent.
Detour using 155th Street (F70) to Hwy 38 to Hwy 6 to Moscow Road.
