MUSCATINE, Iowa – The Muscatine Police Department would like to update the public regarding the Welch Apartments burglaries. The investigation into this incident has been ongoing, since the crime was discovered.
Investigators have worked closely with the displaced residents of the apartment complex in an effort to identify and return property, as well as further criminal prosecution efforts.
As of Tuesday, January 23, 2024, Miguel Salcedo (09/12/71) was charged with an additional (12) counts of burglary in the 3rd degree, one count of trespass, and felon in possession of a firearm. In all, investigators have identified (13) victims of this incident.
