MUSCATINE, Iowa – The Parks and Recreation Department has closed some amenities in the City of Muscatine park system in preparation for the winter season including the Splash Pad at Taylor Park and the Mississippi Mist in Riverside Park. Restroom facilities and drinking fountains will be closed throughout the City of Muscatine park system on Monday, Oct. 30.
The Muscatine park system will remain open, as weather permits, for public use throughout the winter season with the exception of certain amenities. For more information, contact the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department office at (563) 263-0241 or email at parksoffice@muscatineiowa.gov.
The City of Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department offers recreational opportunities for individuals of all ages and all abilities throughout the year. Children should be supervised by parents and/or caregivers at all times. Please take pride in your parks, enjoy the opportunities, and leave the park better than you found it by collecting and depositing trash in appropriate containers.
