MUSCATINE, Iowa – East 2nd Street will be closed between the Mulberry Roundabout and Iowa Avenue from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30, for “Viva Muscatine”, a celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
Please note that:
- The Walnut Street intersection will be closed to traffic.
- The Cedar Street intersection will be closed to traffic.
- The Sycamore Street intersection will be closed to traffic.
- Walnut Street will be closed from the #1 Alley to the Walnut-2nd Street intersection.
- The Iowa intersection will be partially open with eastbound 2nd Street traffic detoured to 3rd Street or Mississippi Drive.
- Access to the Musser Public Library and HNI Community Center will be from the #1 Alley.
Detour for the closure will be to use either Mississippi Drive or East 3rd Street between Mulberry Avenue and Iowa Avenue. Please plan ahead to avoid travel delays.
