MUSCATINE, Iowa – A flag football league for boys and girls is being organized by the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department. Competition will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, September 13 through October 20. Play will take place on Diamond #3 in Kent Stein Park from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Youth Flag Football has been designed to teach football skills and teamwork through organized practices, informal scrimmages, and formal games. Flag football will be played under the lights of Kent Stein Park with the guidance of coaches and referees.
Participants in the Youth Flag Football league will receive a t-shirt and a mouthpiece.
Registration is open now with a $25.00 fee for Muscatine residents and a $30.00 fee for non-residents. The registration deadline is Tuesday, September 6, so don’t hesitate to reserve your spot in-person, over the phone, or online.
