Ignite Vitality Exterior Grant

Exterior Housing Grant Handout (JPEG)This initiative is funded by the State of Iowa. Eligible homeowners may receive Exterior Home Improvement Grants of up to $24,999 per home.

 If the exterior of your home could use repairs or upgrades, this may be a great opportunity for you! Grant staff are available to help determine eligibility and guide you through every step of the application process. 

Eligible improvements may include:

  • Siding & Painting 
  • Windows & Doors 
  • Roof & Gutters 
  • Foundation Repair
  • Stairways, Decks, & Porches 
  • Flashing, Soffit, & Fascia 

 Eligible homes will be: 1) within the project area, 2) owner-occupied, and 3) under a certain income threshold as required by the grant.
