ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

- Approval of minutes from the August 6, 2019 meeting.
- Conditional Use Case #ZBACU14, a flood plain development permit has been filed by Teresa Nelson. The applicant is seeking permission to raise by 40 inches the bottom floor of an existing, flood damaged home that is located at 1804 River Road; and to make other repairs to flood damage. Any substantial improvement to an existing structure that is located in a designated flood plain constitutes a conditional use per City Code 10-4-5 (C)(1)(g) and Federal FEMA regulations, and requires the approval of the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
- Conditional Use Case #ZBACU15, filed by Central States Tower, to construct a cell tower at longitude 91°3'54.56"W and latitude 41°27'6.89"N, south of U.S. 61. A cable T.V. broadcast facility and tower is a designated conditional use in an R-3 Zoning District per City Code 10-6-2(H).
- Appeal Case #ZBAV16-071919, filed by Walton Ponce of 1484 Isett Avenue, to install a sign on the abutting property owned by Kraft Heinz Foods Company and zoned as R-1. This request for a permanent sign in a residential district does not comply with City Code 10-21-6(C) or the billboard regulations outlined in City Code Section 10-21-6(K).
