Subdivision

Martin’s Subdivision – Terry and Carmen Martin – 2 Lots – 20.122 Acres – 41st Street South – Unincorporated Muscatine County

Terry T. and Carmen D. Martin have filed a combined preliminary/final plat for the Martin’s Subdivision, a 20.122 acre two-lot subdivision that is zoned A-1 (Agriculture) within unincorporated Muscatine County. The intent is to allow for the house and buildings located within the proposed subdivision to be split from the adjoining farm ground and sold. This subdivision is located in unincorporated Muscatine County but falls within the two mile limit requiring City of Muscatine review and approval.

Muscatine Pointe Subdivision – EEC-131 LLC – 2 Lots – 1.63 Acres – U.S. Highway 61 Across the Street from Walmart

Jeff Elliott of EEC-131 LLC filed a combined preliminary/final plat for Muscatine Pointe Subdivision for a 1.63 acre, two-lot subdivision on the south side of U.S. 61 across the street from Walmart that is zoned M-1 (Light Industrial). The intent is to develop the existing Taylor Acres Subdivision into a two-lot subdivision. Lot 2 will be developed immediately into a multi-tenant building hosting a restaurant and two commercial entities. Lot 1 will be graded and seeded, and final development is expected to be a restaurant.
