Subdivision
North Port Avenue Investors Addition – Kevin Koellner/North Port Avenue – 1 lot – 3.21 Acres – North Port Drive
A preliminary/final plat for a 1 subdivision, located on North Port Drive. This proposal subdivides Lot 5 and 6 of the North Port Commons Addition, transferring approximately 23,570 square feet of land from Lot 6 to Lot 5. The applicant’s intent is to construct a medical office building on the expanded parcel that constitutes this one lot subdivision.
New Zoning Ordinance
The process to rewrite Muscatine’s 40 year old zoning ordinance and implement the vision contained within the recently adopted Comprehensive Plan has begun. The Commission is being requested to review and comment upon sections of the proposed new zoning ordinance that deal with:
• Garages and Accessory Buildings - based on feedback from the Commission at the May meeting
• Sight Triangle Regulations
• The Keeping of Animals in Residential Districts
