Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Commission include:

  • Selecting testing procedures for the personnel system
  • Hearing appeals on employee discipline cases
  • Administering a Civil Service system

This is a 3-member board appointed to 4-year terms. Members must be eligible electors and they must not hold or be a candidate for any public office.
