Greenwood Cemetery Walk 2015

MUSCATINE, Iowa –The annual Greenwood Cemetery “Walk (or Ride) Through History” has been scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 22, according to the City of Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department. Greenwood Cemetery is located at 1814 Lucas Street. This event is fun for all ages and free to attend.


Include this annual tradition in your fall festivities and learn a bit of Muscatine’s history. Your tour guide will relay 22 enticing stories about some of Greenwood Cemetery’s most interesting and influential residents. All tales will be historically accurate and will be sure to entertain you.


The “Walk (or Ride) Through History” will take place rain or shine, and will last for approximately one hour. MuscaBus tours will be available for those who wish to ride, or in case of inclement weather. Pre-registration is not required for this event. Tours will meet outside of the Greenwood Cemetery Chapel.
