West Hill Sewer Separation Project Phase 4C
The sewer construction and street paving work for the West Hill Sewer Separation Project Phase 4C is effectively complete. All streets where work has been done as part of the sewer separation project are now open to traffic. The contract for Phase 4 of the West Hill Sewer Separation Project was awarded to KE Flatwork, Inc., Eldridge, Iowa, on April 5, 2018, in the amount of $6,109,522.45.
The $1.221,380.28 contract for the West Side Trail Project (1.26 miles of graded and paved pedestrian and bike trail) was awarded to Heuer Construction of Muscatine, Iowa., on September 5, 2019. The project was completed in the Summer 2020. A formal ribbon cutting will be held in Spring 2021.
Roundabout at 2nd Street & Mulberry Avenue intersectionThe $2.1 million Roundabout Project at the intersection of Mulberry Avenue and 2nd Street was completed by Heuer Construction, Inc., on July 27, 2020, when the roundabout was opened to traffic.

West Hill Sewer Separation Project Phase 4B
The sewer construction and street paving work for the West Hill Sewer Separation Project Phase 4B is effectively complete. All streets where work has been done as part of the sewer separation project are now open to traffic. The contract for Phase 4 of the West Hill Sewer Separation Project was awarded to KE Flatwork, Inc., Eldridge, Iowa, on April 5, 2018, in the amount of $6,109,522.45.

Mississippi Drive Corridor Reconstruction Project
The two-year Mississippi Drive Corridor Reconstruction Project was completed on November 27, 2018, when the final section opened completing the construction from Broadway to Mad Creek. The contract for the Mississippi Drive Corridor Reconstruction Project was awarded to KE Flatwork, Inc., Eldridge, Iowa, on April 20, 2017, in the amount of $8,010,348.50 .

All streets where work has been done as part of the sewer separation project are now open to traffic. The contract for Phase 4 of the West Hill Sewer Separation Project was awarded to KE Flatwork, Inc., Eldridge, Iowa, on April 5, 2018, in the amount of $6,109,522.45.
2017
Kent Stein to Deep Lakes Park Trail
The project was awarded to Illowa Investment, Inc., of Blue Grass, IA, on Thursday, April 13, 2017 in the amount of $1,198,197.30. The completed trail was accepted by the Muscatine City Council on Thursday, October 19, 2017, at a final cost of $1,196.026.41. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the 41st Street entrance to Deep Lakes Park on Friday, October 20, 2017, with councilman Bob Bynam cutting the ribbon to officially open the trail.
West Hill Sewer Separation Project Phase 3C
The sewer construction and street paving work for the West Hill Sewer Separation Project Phase 3C is effectively complete. All streets where work has been done as part of the sewer separation project are now open to traffic. Contract for the West Hill Sewer Separation Project, Phase 3, was awarded to Hagerty Earthworks on April 16, 2015 in the amount of $4,988,668.
2016
Diana Queen Drive Extension
Awarded to Heuer Construction, Inc. was completed in the amount of $295,272.69. City Council accepted the completed project on January 7, 2016.
