What does the Public Works Buildings and Grounds Division do?
We provide maintenance for many City-owned buildings and grounds that include City Hall, the Public Safety Building, the South Fire Station, the library, the Art Center and Museum, the Public Works Building, and certain maintenance functions at the Municipal Airport.

How do I obtain a building permit?
The Community Development Department handles all building, electrical, plumbing, and other similar permits. For more details, please contact them at 563.262.4141.
