Functions
The Buildings and Grounds Division of the Public Works Department is responsible for the upkeep and repair of city facilities, grounds, and equipment. The division is responsible for maintaining the following facilities and grounds:
- Airport (certain maintenance functions at this location)
- Art Center and Museum
- City Hall
- Library
- Public Safety Building
- Public Works
- South Fire Station
Personnel
There are 9 employees working for the Building and Grounds Department including the supervisor for the division, Stan O'Brien, 3 full-time staff members, and 5 part-time staff.
Certifications and licenses held are: CDL, Pest Control, Backflow Prevention, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Electrical Principles, Building Maintenance, HVAC and Pneumatics.
